Two Pregnant Women Die In Wake County From H1N1 Virus

RALEIGH - According to a local television report, two pregnant women in Wake County have died of the swine flu or H1N1 virus.

WRAL-TV said that the women were not identified and that the Wake County Health Department did not identify where the women lived, but that they had died during the last week of October.

Wake County has temporarily ended giving the shots for the H1N1 virus at its clinics around the county because it has run out of the vaccine.

"The supply of Wake County's H1N1 vaccine is temporarily depleted, and H1N1 clinics are closed," said the county on its website.

The county said that the shots will be available when the vaccine has been restocked.

According to the county, most flu illness in Wake County at this time is being caused by H1N1 virus.
