Mr. Ellis is a “triple talent” actor/comedian/recording artist, whose experience is extensive, and his moniker as “Mr. Entertainment” has been well established. As an actor, Mr. Ellis’ accomplishments include co-staring roles in the motion picture releases "Small Timers," "The Lawn Boy," and "Photo Shop" The Movie. D. Elli$ also participated in the filming of "Soul Men" with Samuel Jackson and Bernie Mac. Additionally, he’s featured as the comic relief character throughout rapper Sonny Rich’s new video Stunners with Special Guest Sean Salisbury from ESPN! D. Elli$ has also appeared in the production of Shelly Garrett’s Beauty Shop
As a comedian, D. Elli$’ experience includes appearances on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, hosted by Bill Bellamy, TV ONE’s 2nd season of "Who’s Got Jokes?," hosted by Bill Bellamy, and BET’s Comic View. In 2008, D. Elli$ hosted the "Top Dogs of Comedy" Tour, with comedian Capone, and most recently Mr. Elli$ has performed with comedians including former BET "Comic View" Hosts J. Anthony Brown, and Sheryl Underwood, A.J. Jamal, and Impressionist King Jammin J. Lamont, and "Queens of Comedy" Star "Mo'Nique!" D. Elli$ has also shared the stage with "King of Comedy" Steve Harvey, Ricky Smiley, Money Mike from Friday After Next, Kim Cole for Living Single, and at The Laugh Factory in LA.He’s also appeared on Good Morning Texas hosted by Brenda Teele on Dallas’ ABC affiliate WFAA (Channel 8). He’s opened up for concerts such as Frankie Beverley & Maze, Mint Condition, Alex Thomas, Charlie Murphy, and Dave Hollister, just to name a few. Facebook
