hiphopcss.com's Artist Spotlight presents "KUSH" it's Fresh and Dynamic, it's KUSH BABY!!!

With the landscape of Music being changed by the watered down sounds of synthesizer pop, Kush breathes new life into the game with dynamic lyricism over soulful beats. Starting at the prime age of 10, he set up a small, low budget, studio in his room where he taught himself how to engineer his own sound and music. Ghost writing for many local artists, he appeared on numerous mixtapes in the underground circuit. He was discovered by up and coming producer Curtfresh. After delivering the hit "Superstar", together they began campaigning and opening many doors in the industry. 

At a South by Southwest music event in Austin, he met with Grammy Award winning group Los Lonely Boys. After a meeting with label directors and management teams, he performed a few songs for them in person, leaving them amazed at his lyrical prowess. They asked him to meet them in their home town of San Angelo, TX where together they wrote and recorded the song "Lets Go Cowboys" for the NFL Team Dallas Cowboys. Later that year, He performed the Monday Night Football Halftime show at Dallas stadium alongside Los Lonely Boys, in what turned out to be an Epic event in front of 100,000 people.

In the competitive world of Hip Hop, where artists are signed for their ability to create a buzz and an underground following, Kush is one of the only artists in many years to be signed solely based on his Musical and lyrical Talents. His love and passion for music will not falter, nor will he allow the fame and fortune to get in between what matters the most in his eyes... Making Great Music!
